For Whom the Gospel is Good News!

I don't know how many times I have heard it said that Christians should be sharing the Gospel with others.  I am not sure how many times I have said it myself.  What I have come to realize is that not only are Christ's followers to be sharing the Gospel but we are to meditating on it and living it.
If we are not living a life permeated by the Gospel then how can we expect it to be easy to share this Good News with others that we encounter.

What do we need from the Gospel besides salvation?
The Gospel is also transforming and renewing for those who already believe.  It isn't as if we hear the message of Jesus death, burial, and resurrection and then say, "That was nice, now I can do other things."  No! We must rightly apply the truth that has been revealed to us.  We must live the Gospel.  The Gospel is also the process by which we are sanctified.  We must continue to grow in likeness of Christ.  What does Jesus say?
Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."
It is a continual process.
I think the Gospel also teaches us how to rightly relate to others.
Romans 5:7-8
If Christ would die for me when I was His enemy, what should I be willing to do for those around me?
I must love as Christ loved.
Let us do as Hebrews 10:24 instructs us to do.
We are all on this journey together, let us spur each other on in the faith and let us make the Gospel our daily bread!
